About Us

Alesci’s of South Euclid (a suburb of Northeastern Ohio), was built in 1957 and is proudly owned and operated by third generation brothers, Frank and Tony Alesci and co-managed with fourth generation son, Marc Alesci.

Our Italian Deli carries on the tradition of our founder, Grandpa Frank Alesci and his dream to bring to our customers the finest quality foods and services available in today's marketplace.

At the beginning, Alesci’s Imported Foods became a family tradition where our customers would gather to obtain the foods and aromas of their homelands.  Still today our local customers reminisce about their family traditions and the old world foods that generations have come to love and hold dear in their memories.

Today, Alesci’s of South Euclid is a 7000 sq. ft. deli operated seven days a week in that old world tradition.  We proudly create our famous crusty italian breads, prepared foods, pizzas, and subs.  Our super deli offers fresh sliced luncheon meats and cheeses on a daily basis.  Our specialty salads, bulk olives and homemade sausage are sure to please the most discriminating appetites.

Alesci's specialty foods offer a wide array of products from the finest olive oils, imported pastas, olives, peppers, cheeses, imported san marzano tomatoes, spices, semolina, polenta, homemade biscotti and frozen pasta items including our own Grandma Alesci’s Gourmet ravioli, and fresh frozen homemade pasta sauces.

What has been proudly presented to the Greater Cleveland Market for four generations is now available to you online as Alesci's of South Euclid's Online Deli offers our products from our house to yours

Alesci's goes high-tech, puts business on Web

Alesci’s Foods, founded in 1943 with Old World values the owners say are adhered to until this day, has entered the 21st century computer age.

And, Frank, Tony and Tony’s son, Marc Alesci are thrilled with the results.

The store, celebrating its 50th anniversary at 4333 Mayfield Road in South Euclid, has a full selection of goods it imports from Italy, but it is now in the exporting business since WSI Internet Consulting of Beachwood installed a Web site in October.  In the past three months, the neighbor-hood, family-owned business, has gone nationwide.

Orders have come in from the state of Washington, Oregon,   Indiana,    Louisiana, Nevada, Pennsylvania, Texas, New York, Florida, North and South Carolina and Montana.

“It’s hard to believe that someone in Montana needed cheese,” Frank Alesci said, “When someone orders cheese, they usually order Alesci’s Pasta Sauce, too.”

And, for first-time Internet orders, a complimentary container of Frank’s creation, the perfect meatball mix, is also mailed out.
